GOWER COLLEGE SWANSEA'S GORSEINON CAMPUS is based in a pleasant residential area and accommodates more than 2000 full time students. The existing catering facility was out-of-date and they required a re-designed full commercial kitchen as well as a separate coffee shop facility. There were two phases of refurbishment work. The first phase included the installation of a brand new coffee shop located within the existing refectory.
This involved the adaption of M&E services and various associated builders work before the equipment could be installed and commissioned. The resulting facility has been branded a success by catering staff and students alike. Following this, the second phase of the works took place with part demolition and extension of the existing kitchen. After completion of extensive building work RACS proceeded with installing a fully equipped kitchen facilityand associated servery counters.
